HDRÈY’s advanced formulas combine deep cleansing with instant hydration, leaving your face fresh, soft and ready for the next steps in your skincare routine. Choose the lightness of a foam or the effectiveness of a gel and feel your skin regain its radiance.

Face wash gels and foams – daily cleansing tailored to your skin

Washing your face is one of those skincare steps we perform every day, which is why both thorough cleansing and how the skin feels after rinsing off the product matter. A well-chosen gel or foam should remove sebum, sweat, and daily impurities while leaving the complexion feeling comfortable and prepared for subsequent products.

The HDRÈY category includes both light 250 ml foams and 300–320 ml gels. Individual formulas meet different needs: Full HA focuses on hydration, Sensitive on gentle cleansing for sensitive skin, Oil Control and All Control are aimed at skin that produces more sebum, and Men Revolution includes two products created with daily men's skincare in mind.

Foam or face wash gel – where to start?

The consistency alone does not determine which product will be better. Foam is ready to apply in a light, fluffy form and spreads easily on a damp face. Gel offers a different sensation during washing and may appeal to those who prefer a more classic cleansing method.

The specific product profile is much more important. Dry skin might prefer Full HA, sensitive skin – Sensitive, and combination or oily skin – Oil Control. If you primarily want to choose by format, you can compare face foamsand face gelsseparately.

Full HA Foam – a light foam for skin in need of hydration

Full HA Cleansing Foam 250 ml is intended for daily use on every skin type, especially when a feeling of tightness easily appears after washing. The foam removes impurities and cosmetic residue, and its skincare focus centers on maintaining the skin's softness and comfort.

The formula includes panthenol, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, and trehalose, among others. The product also contains the RENAISSANCE HPS3® complex, the formula of which is the subject of patent application EP24185877.8.

Apply the foam to a dampened face, massage gently, and then rinse thoroughly with water. It can be used both morning and evening.

Full HA Gel – a similar skincare focus in a gel consistency

Those who prefer gel can choose Full HA Gel 300 ml. Like the foam, it focuses on cleansing combined with a hydrating skincare character. The formula contains hyaluronic acid and RENAISSANCE HPS3®.

The difference between these two products therefore does not come down to one being intended for dry skin and the other for oily skin. Both belong to a similar direction but offer a different consistency during washing.

If you want quick, light cleansing in the morning, foam might be more convenient. If you prefer a gel that is massaged longer on a damp face in the evening, Full HA Gel may better suit your habits.

Sensitive Foam – gentle cleansing for sensitive skin

Sensitive Foam 250 ml was prepared for sensitive skin. The formula contains panthenol, and its mode of action focuses on removing daily impurities while maintaining comfort after rinsing.

With sensitive skin, not only the choice of product matters, but also the washing technique. There is no need to rub the face for a long time or use very hot water. A small amount of foam can be gently spread over dampened skin and then rinsed with lukewarm water.

After washing, it is also worth avoiding vigorous towel drying. Gently patting the face dry helps maintain comfort before applying toner, serum, or cream.

Oil Control Foam – for combination and oily skin

Oil Control 250 ml was aimed at combination and oily skin, especially when noticeable shine appears during the day. The foam helps remove excess sebum and impurities, but its task is not to leave the skin severely stripped of its natural oils.

This is important because skin that produces more sebum still needs comfort and proper hydration. A strong feeling of tightness after washing is not a necessary signal of effective cleansing.

Oil Control can be used every morning and evening if the frequency suits the skin. After cleansing, you can proceed to a light toner, serum, and cream tailored to your current needs.

All Control Gel – a cleansing gel with AHA acids

All Control Gel 300 ml is a more targeted option in this category. The product is intended for acne-prone skin and contains AHA acids. Its role is to cleanse the skin's surface and remove excess sebum while preparing the face for further care.

The presence of acids means it is worth looking at the entire routine, not just the cleansing product. If you are already using other acid-based products or retinal in the evening, there is not always a need to add several similarly targeted steps at once.

You can find more cosmetics of this type in the cosmetics with AHA and BHA acidscategory.

Men Revolution – two ways to cleanse men's skin

The current collection also includes two Men Revolutionproducts: the cleansing Total Control Gel 320 ml and a soothing foam 250 ml.

Total Control Gel is aimed at those who prefer a gel consistency and thorough daily cleansing of sweat, sebum, and dirt from the skin. Men Revolution foam has a gentler usage character and can be a convenient choice even when the skin is regularly shaved.

Both products can be used as the first step of a men's routine before serum, cream, or aftershave balm. There is no need to use both the gel and the foam in a single wash – these are alternative formats.

The face does not always require the same cleansing in the morning as in the evening

During morning washing, there is usually no makeup or all-day sunscreen layer on the skin. The goal is to remove sebum, sweat, and residue from products applied in the evening. Therefore, a small amount of foam or gel is often quite enough.

The situation is different in the evening. If there is makeup or sunscreen on the face, the gel or foam can act as the second step after a balm, oil, or micellar water.

You can find a full selection of products for individual steps in the HDRÈY facial cleansingcategory.

Are a gel or foam enough for makeup removal?

It depends on the amount and type of cosmetics worn during the day. A light cleansing product may remove makeup residue, but with waterproof formulas, heavier foundation, or several layers of sunscreen, it might be more convenient to dissolve them first with a balm, cleansing oil, or micellar water.

Only then do the foam or gel cleanse the skin of the residue from the first step. However, this does not mean that two-step cleansing is mandatory every morning and evening regardless of the situation.

How long should you wash your face with a gel or foam?

The most important thing is to thoroughly spread the product over the entire face: forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and jawline. You do not need to extend the massage for several minutes or scrub the skin intensely.

After finishing, the product should be rinsed off thoroughly, paying attention to the nose area, hairline, and jawline. Cleanser residue should not remain on the skin as an additional skincare layer.

What to apply after washing your face?

After cleansing, you can proceed to the next steps selected according to the skin's needs. For one person, it will be a toner and cream; for another, a serum, eye cream, and face cream. The number of products does not have to be large.

The most important thing is that the skin is clean and comfortable after washing. If it regularly remains very tight, it is worth re-evaluating the chosen product, the amount of cosmetic used, the water temperature, and the frequency of cleansing.

HDRÈY face wash gels and foams – choice by need, not just consistency

The current collection offers several clearly different possibilities. Full HA Foam and Full HA Gel steer skincare toward hydration. Sensitive Foam meets the needs of sensitive skin. Oil Control Foam is intended for combination and oily skin, and All Control Gel utilizes AHA acids and is aimed at acne-prone skin. Men Revolution expands the choice with a gel and foam prepared for the daily care of men's skin.

The best starting point is therefore not the question "gel or foam?", but "how does my skin behave after washing?". Only then is it worth choosing the consistency that will simply be convenient for you to use every day.
