The store hdrey.com offers two types of Gift Cards: an electronic version (instant online delivery) and a physical version delivered to a specified address (2-3 day delivery).
Give your loved ones the freedom of choice and a unique gift tailored to their needs. You can present the card in person in elegant gift packaging or use our delivery service – we will quickly and conveniently send it directly to the recipient.
Gift Card Purchase Terms and Conditions
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules for the purchase, activation, delivery, redemption, returns, and complaints regarding HDRÈY Gift Cards.
1.2. The terms used in these Terms and Conditions mean:
1.2.1. Issuer – HDREY GROUP Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at: Całowanie 103E, 05-480 Całowanie, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000683399, holding NIP number 7252207626 and REGON number 367580007.
1.2.2. Online Store – the online store operated by the Issuer at www.hdrey.com.
1.2.3. Physical Store – a brick-and-mortar point of sale operated by the Issuer.
1.2.4. Gift Card or Card – a voucher issued by the Issuer, entitling the User to purchase products offered by the Issuer up to the amount of funds stored on the Card.
1.2.5. Electronic Card – a Gift Card delivered in electronic form to the indicated email address.
1.2.6. Physical Card – a Gift Card issued in material form and delivered to the indicated address.
1.2.7. Purchaser – a natural person, legal entity, or organizational unit purchasing a Gift Card.
1.2.8. User – the holder of the Gift Card at any given time.
1.3. Gift Cards may be purchased in the Online Store and Physical Stores, in accordance with the Issuer's current offer.
1.4. Gift Cards are bearer cards. The Issuer does not verify the identity of the person redeeming the Card.
1.5. The funds stored on the Gift Card are open-ended and do not expire.
1.6. The Gift Card is not exchangeable for money (cash), either in whole or in part.
1.7. The Gift Card is not an electronic payment instrument or a payment card within the meaning of applicable law.
1.8. The Issuer is not liable for the loss, theft, destruction, or disclosure of Card data to third parties after its activation.
2. Purchase and Activation of Gift Cards
2.1. Gift Cards can only be purchased after full prepayment using the payment methods made available by the Issuer.
2.2. Gift Cards cannot be purchased using other Gift Cards.
2.3. The Electronic Card and Physical Card are activated upon sending the message containing the Card or the data enabling its redemption to the indicated email address.
2.4. Confirmation of the Gift Card purchase is the email confirming the transaction.
2.5. The purchase of a Gift Card does not constitute the sale of goods or services subject to VAT. The sales document for the purchased products is issued at the moment the Card is redeemed for products offered by the Issuer.
3. Delivery of Gift Cards
3.1. Electronic Card
3.1.1. The Electronic Card is delivered exclusively electronically to the email address indicated by the Purchaser.
3.1.2. Sending an email containing the Card constitutes effective delivery of the Card.
3.1.3. Failure to read the email by the recipient is not a basis for a refund or for considering the Card as undelivered.
3.2. Physical Card
3.2.1. The Physical Card is delivered via a postal operator or courier company to the address indicated by the Purchaser.
3.2.2. The Card may be packaged in a gift box in accordance with the Issuer's current offer.
3.2.3. The cost of packaging and delivery may be added to the price of the Physical Card, in accordance with the information presented during the order process.
3.2.4. The data enabling the redemption of the Card will be additionally sent to the email address indicated by the Purchaser, which is equivalent to its receipt.
3.2.5. Failure to collect the shipment by the recipient is not a basis for a refund if the Card data was effectively sent electronically.
4. Right of Withdrawal
4.1. Gift Cards purchased in Physical Stores are non-refundable, subject to rights arising from mandatory legal provisions.
4.2. In the case of a Physical Card, the right of withdrawal applies only if: a) the Card has not been used in whole or in part, b) the Card balance remains unused, c) the Card is returned to the Issuer.
4.3. The Electronic Card constitutes digital content delivered electronically.
4.4. Before purchasing an Electronic Card, the Consumer agrees to its delivery before the expiry of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that after its delivery, they will lose the right of withdrawal.
4.5. The right of withdrawal regarding the Electronic Card expires upon sending the email containing the Card or the data enabling its redemption.
5. Gift Card Redemption Rules
5.1. The Gift Card can be redeemed in the Online Store and at HDRÈY Physical Stores.
5.2. The Card can be used multiple times until all funds stored on the Card are exhausted.
5.3. The Card cannot be topped up.
5.4. If the value of the purchase is lower than the Card balance, the unused amount remains on the Card for future use.
5.5. If the value of the purchase exceeds the Card balance, the User is required to pay the difference using available payment methods.
5.6. The Issuer has the right to refuse the redemption of the Card in the case of: a) insufficient funds on the Card, b) an inactive Card, c) technical problems preventing its redemption, d) reasonable suspicion of abuse or unauthorized use of the Card.
6. Loyalty Program
6.1. Purchasing a Gift Card does not entitle the holder to accrue points in the HDRÈY loyalty program.
6.2. Loyalty points are accrued only at the moment of using the funds from the Card to purchase products, in accordance with the rules of the HDRÈY loyalty program.
7. Returns and Complaints of Products Purchased with the Card
7.1. In the case of a return of a product purchased using a Gift Card, the Issuer will refund the funds to a new Gift Card.
7.2. If the purchase was paid for partially with a Gift Card and partially with another payment method, the refund will be made proportionally: a) for the portion paid with the Gift Card – to a new Gift Card, b) for the portion paid with another payment method – using the same payment method.
7.3. The return of products purchased using the Card takes place according to the rules set out in the HDRÈY Online Store Terms and Conditions and applicable law.
7.4. In the case of an accepted complaint about a product purchased using a Gift Card, the refund will be issued to a new Gift Card or, as applicable, using the original payment method, proportional to the method of payment for the order.
8. Complaints Regarding Gift Cards
8.1. Complaints regarding Gift Cards can be submitted:
- electronically to: shop@hdrey.com,
- in writing to the Issuer's registered office address.
8.2. The complaint should include:
- details of the person submitting the complaint,
- Card number,
- description of the problem,
- complaint request.
8.3. The Issuer will process the complaint within 14 days of receiving it.
8.4. The response to the complaint will be provided in the same form as it was submitted, unless the claimant specifies another preferred method of communication.
9. Final Provisions
9.1. The issuance of a Gift Card does not constitute a sale subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) within the meaning of applicable tax laws. Upon receiving payment for the purchase of a Gift Card, the Issuer provides the Purchaser with a transaction confirmation, which serves as proof of purchase.
9.2. A fiscal receipt or VAT invoice documenting the sale of products is issued at the time the Gift Card is redeemed for the purchase of products offered by the Issuer.
9.3. The Gift Card, within the meaning of applicable law, is not an electronic payment instrument or a payment card. The Card is a physical or electronic form of a voucher entitling the holder to purchase products offered by the Issuer.
9.4. The Terms and Conditions are available on the website www.hdrey.com and in HDRÈY Physical Stores.
9.5. The Issuer reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions for important reasons, in particular in the case of: a) changes in legislation, b) organizational or technological changes related to Gift Card services, c) the need to prevent abuse.
9.6. Changes to the Terms and Conditions do not infringe upon the rights acquired by holders of Gift Cards purchased before the changes took effect.
9.7. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of Polish law apply, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
9.8. The Terms and Conditions enter into force on the day of their publication on the Issuer's website.
